A fresh new album of exciting new music by Jazz pianist/composer Louiz Banks ....PRISM plays around with new age progressive jazz in a fully structured capsule executed with love and virtuosity with a little help from a few great collaborators ...the searing saxophone virtuosity of Carl Clement and George Brooks, Elie Afif brings out the magic of the acoustic bass beautifully , on drums there is a triple treat in the form of Gino Banks,Jai Row Kavi and Andrew Kanga ...recorded and mixed by my favourite engineer Neil Jerry Dsouza and recorded at Gino's Den, MUMBAI...produced by DOUBLE SHIFT PRODUCTIONS , the album is a culmination of my current thought process... as artistic invention is always evolving.....Who knows what tomorrow will bring ??? Enjoy .....
Rainbow Eaters shatters the VIBGYOR calmness of the Rainbow with a multiplicity of grooves and time changes and moods. Carl Clements on Tenor sax and Gino Banks on drums effortlessly manipulate all the intricacies and come up with exciting solos and driving rhythms. Louiz Banks on keyboard bass and Piano lays down a solid foundation of harmonic framework and bass lines and solos to enhance the composition. As usual Neil Jerry DSouza comes up with a great mix.
